If It Is Meant For You, It Will Cross Oceans, And Distances, And Doubts To Reach You
Finding peace starts with surrendering our worries to the universe and trusting that God’s guidance will meet us in the middle of our uncertainty. Best-selling author of Finding God Every Day, Rebecca Simon, reminds us to trust God’s timing, embrace patience, and lean on His presence through every season of life.
Waiting doesn’t mean you’re forgotten. And trust doesn’t mean you stop caring — it means you stop forcing. Some things take longer not because they’re uncertain, but because they’re being formed with intention. When something is truly meant for you, it won’t ask you to live in constant anxiety or doubt. It will arrive in a way that keeps your spirit intact. Until then, peace is not a placeholder. It’s a gift God gives you while he is still working.
If it is meant for me, God, help me trust that it will reach me.
Because I’m learning that what is truly aligned doesn’t require chasing, anxiety, or constant reassurance. I don’t want to live with my heart stretched thin, trying to force timing or control outcomes that were never mine to manage. I’m realizing that if something belongs in my life, it will come with peace, not panic.
It will move toward me without me abandoning myself in the process. And if it hasn’t arrived yet, maybe it’s not delayed — maybe it’s still being prepared. I want to trust that God knows the right moment, the right path, and the right way for what is meant for me to find me. And until then, I want my spirit to remain steady, rooted, and at rest — believing that nothing meant for me will miss me.
