Jharkhand High Court Summons Officials Over Dhanbad Air Pollution, Illegal Mining
Jharkhand High Court has summoned Dhanbad's deputy commissioner, SSP, pollution control board member secretary, and town commissioner on April 2 to address rising air pollution. A PIL highlighted rampant illegal coal mining as the cause, with the court also ordering the BCCL chairman to appear and detail steps against illegal mining.
