Ivanna Lisette Ortiz Posted Strange Message Before Rihanna House Shooting: Reports
New details are emerging about Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the woman accused of shooting at singer Rihanna's house.
According to TMZ, Ortiz "apparently posted a bizarre message addressing the singer just weeks before the incident." Although Rihanna was home when the gunfire erupted, the singer and her family were not injured. Still, it made for a scary incident for Rihanna.
Although Ortiz has already appeared in court, she entered a not-guilty plea and later withdrew it, resulting in her arraignment being postponed, CBS News reported. She was charged with attempted murder and other felony accounts, according to The New York Times.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney wrote in a news release that Ortiz is from Orlando.
"A 35-year-old woman was charged today for trying to kill musician Rihanna after she fired a semiautomatic rifle at the singer’s Beverly Crest home over the weekend. No one was injured," the release says.
“Opening fire in any populated neighborhood is extremely dangerous, puts lives at risk and will be fully prosecuted,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said. “Thankfully, no one was injured in this shooting, but this careless violence will not be tolerated in our community. Such shooters will find their next destination to be our jails and prisons.”
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, was charged "in case 26CJCF01519 "with one count of attempted murder, 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper," the DA wrote. "Her arraignment was continued to March 25 in Department 30 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center. Bail has been set to $1.875 million."
On March 8, at about 1:20 p.m., Ortiz "is accused of driving up to the front of a home belonging to Rihanna in the 9500 block of Heather Road and firing a semiautomatic weapon multiple times at the house. There were people on the musician’s property as well as an adjacent house, but no one was struck by gunfire," added the DA. "Ortiz fled the scene but was arrested a short time later in Sherman Oaks. If convicted as charged, Ortiz faces up to life in state prison."
The case "is being prosecuted by Alexander Bott of the Major Crimes Division and remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division," added the DA.
