Coming together to mark Mother’s Day
Communities will be able to come together in person and online to mark Mother’s Day.
On Sunday 15th March, a commemorative service will be held at 12pm at Anfield Crematorium, delivered in partnership with the Good Funeral Company and Anthony Davies Bereavement.
The crematorium chapel will be open from 11am-1pm for people who would like to take a quiet moment of reflection but not to attend the service. Refreshments will also be available.
This year’s nominated charity is Anthony Davies Bereavement, which specialises in supporting children that have experienced significant loss. They provide compassionate support and community resources to help families navigate grief and loss.
The service will be livestreamed for anyone who is unable to attend the event. You can watch the webcast via https://watch.obitus.com – enter the username fowu1396 and the password 712806.
The Garden of Remembrance will be open as usual from dawn to dusk.
The Book of Remembrance is also available from 9am-4.30pm weekends and public holidays as well as from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The Books of Remembrance can also be viewed online for Anfield and Springwood.
