Almost the entire range of new cards is manufactured from biodegradable material, the production of which requires lower energy consumption and generates significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Cardholders participate in the €pistrofi Rewards Programme, earning euros with every transaction made at participating businesses. The amount is credited directly to the customer’s account, providing tangible support to their disposable income. The programme applies to more than 800 points of sale in Cyprus and more than 8,500 in Greece, expanding the network of benefits and offering added value both domestically and across borders.
Online Banking meets Eurobank Cyprus app
The Bank’s digital channels strengthen full control, management and security of cards, offering cardholders genuine peace of mind and a seamless everyday banking experience. Through Online Banking and the Eurobank Cyprus app, cardholders can fully manage their card security settings: temporarily freeze their cards and easily reactivate them, enable SMS or push notifications on their device and set limits so that they are informed in real time of every transaction. They can also cancel a card immediately in the event of loss or theft, preventing potential fraud.
In addition, new features have been introduced. Following a quick biometric verification (facial recognition or fingerprint), users can view their card details, their personal identification number (PIN) and unlock it in the event of three incorrect attempts. For even more secure online transactions, customers can issue a new virtual card within minutes. All new cards support Apple Pay, Google Pay and Garmin Pay.
