Formed in 1968 the Waterloo Cycling Club is a vibrant, volunteer-driven community for riders of all levels. WCC offers group rides, skills development, racing opportunities, and social events throughout the year. Their goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where cyclists can grow, connect, and explore the region together.
Joining the WCC means becoming part of a friendly, supportive community that rides, learns and grows together. Members enjoy organized group rides for all skills levels, access to experienced ride leaders, skills clinics, and opportunities to try racing or explore new routes safely. The club also offers a great social atmosphere, events, camaraderie, and a network of riders who share a passion for cycling. Whether you want to get fitter, meet new people, or push your limits, the WCC helps you do it in a fun and encouraging environment.
WCC says, if you’re thinking about joining a cycling club, look for a group that matches your pace, feels welcoming, and offers clear ride structure. Start with an intro ride, ask questions, and choose a club where you feel supported, safe, and excited to ride.
