Revised Stadium Layout Plan – March 2026
Following and extensive review of stadium facilities and matchday operations, in consultation with feedback from our fans and other stakeholders in the community, Poole Town Football Club are pleased to put in place a revised stadium plan for use on non-segregated matches moving forwards.
This amended plan helps the management of games by designating a new and enlarged ‘Home Fan Zone’ where Poole Fans can watch the game in a safe and controlled environment away from any outside influences. By increasing the current ‘Home Fan Zone’ to include the Northeast Corner of the ground besides the dugouts, this now creates a new area where younger families can stand to enjoy the game away from any visiting fans should they wish to.
The plan also places a new permanent no-go area at each end of the ground that will enable staff and players the ability to move freely. As part of the creation of these new no-go areas, additional fencing will be installed, and some toilets will be relocated. To help maintain the new ‘Home Fan Zone’ additional stewards will be deployed at the area behind the ‘Dugouts’ to help ensure the safety and integrity of the implementation of the area for all games.
The new plan has been laid on the map below, (MAP A) which includes locations of Toilets, and Catering Facilities available for all persons attending games. Please note that the 2nd map (MAP B) included in this information confirms the areas allowed for consumption of alcohol, as permitted by the clubs ‘Liquor Licence’ in accordance with the local authority.
In addition to these changes to the matchday layout at Tatnam, additional support staff will be on hand at games for the safety of all our fans. This additional support will be made up of Qualified Security Professionals and Matchdays Volunteers, that will be positioned throughout the ground.
In the event of games being segregated, the stadium plan will be altered, and this will be shared online in advance of any games accordingly.
A further addition to the changes above, will be an increased presence on the surrounding areas of the ground pre and post-game. Security Professionals and Stewards will be deployed in key areas on the approach to The Tatnam Ground with Video Recording Equipment to help maintain a safe area for all fans visiting Poole Town Football Club. Together with the CCTV in place within the ground, any images capturing any antisocial behaviours will then be shared with Dorset Police.
