Why We Love This Deal

Need a versatile light that can go anywhere you do? Head over to Walmart. The retailer just posted an amazing flash deal on a super bright, water-resistant LED flashlight. At this price, you could buy a few and keep them stashed in your car, workshop, or backpack so you’ll never be caught in the dark.

The Sentryse 5000-Lumen LED Flashlight is on sale for just $12, a 40% discount from its normal price of $20. This flashlight is a Walmart "Overall Pick," and at $12, it’s a standout deal for a 5,000-lumen LED light. This Maglite only produces 1,082 lumens and costs seven times as much, and this 5K-lumen light retails for $90 on Amazon. There may be some kind of tradeoff in the casing material or somewhere else, but from what we can see, shoppers really seem to like this unit.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Brightness: 5,000 lumens
  • Lighting Modes: High, low, strobe
  • Power Source: Rechargeable battery
  • Power Gauge: LED display
  • Waterproofing: IPX4 water resistant

The Sentryse light features a powerful LED array that can achieve up to 5,000 lumens of output for optimal illumination, even when pointed at distant objects. It features high and low settings as well as a strobe setting to attract attention in an emergency. It’s powered by a 1200mAh rechargeable battery (a microUSB charge cable is included), so you don’t need to worry about buying and storing one-time-use batteries.

The molded handle makes it comfortable to carry and aim, and the lens creates a long beam pattern to shine the light quite a ways (a key highlight among reviewers). An LED power gauge on the side of the light helps you track the battery’s charge state at a glance, and the housing is IPX4 rated, so it can withstand splashes and rain.

What Shoppers Are Saying

Although this flashlight isn’t from a name brand, shoppers have been impressed with its performance, calling it “insanely bright.” The beam pattern is great for illuminating distant objects—up to 100 feet away, according to one reviewer. “It’s bright for a very long distance,” another shopper said. Overall, shoppers have found this flashlight super useful, and with its robust build and rechargeable battery, you can take it just about anywhere. It’s “perfect for outdoor use or emergencies,” one reviewer stated.

This Walmart Flash Deal will only last a few more days, and at just $12, this powerful LED flashlight could easily sell out before then. Snag yours today before it goes totally out of stock.
