'You can smell the explosives': Inside the Beirut subrubs targeted by Israel
Israel has carried out more airstrikes on what it says are Hezbollah targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut. The neighbourhoods there, in the area known as the Dahiyeh, are historically a stronghold of the group. In an unprecedented move, the IDF issued mass evacuation orders for the whole of the southern suburbs and thousands fled the ensuing Israeli air campaign. But far from everyone has left, as France 24’s reporters found, in a rare trip to film inside.
