Taco Bell Launches 3 New Menu Items — Including a Brand-New Crunchwrap
Fast food fans rejoice — as Taco Bell has some new items to try out, according to a new report by Sporked.
The new additions include three brand-new items and the return of two old favorites, back by popular demand.
The original items include a Crispy Chicken Crunchwrap Slider, set to be available everywhere after testing well at its Tennessee locations. The outlet described the mini crunchwraps as "filled with all the goodies you expect in the bigger version, with a handful of crispy chicken to boot." Sounds like a twist on a classic item that has proven one of Taco Bell's most consistently popular items.
Additionally, there is the Steak & Guac Nacho Fries, said to be a "pile of crispy potatoes topped with steak, nacho cheese sauce, guac, and sour cream." Loaded fries are a popular menu item at many restaurants, so it makes sense that Taco Bell wants to get in on the foodie trend.
Finally, there is the Pink Passionfruit Refresca Freeze — a creamy, fruity, iced drink. Just in time for the warmer weather that is set to his us as Spring gets into full swing.
These new menu items are set to be available nationwide from March 19, and whether they'll stay is up to how popular they are with customers. They may also disappear and make a return, like the following two items.
As for the returning items, there are the Crispy Chicken Nuggets, said to be returning to the franchise from April onwards for a limited time only. The beloved item is made from typical chicken nugget all-white meat, with a jalapeño buttermilk marinade, and breaded with a crunchy tortilla chip coating.
Additionally, there is the Cantina Chicken Rolled Quesadilla — featuring rolled and grilled chicken, included in a three-cheese blend with creamy chipotle sauce, all in a toasty tortilla wrap. The latter item is set to be a permanent addition to the chain's universal menu, according to Sporked.
