Cyprus hotel managers urge calm until normality returns
The hotel industry should remain calm and show restraint as international developments continue to unfold, the Cyprus Hotel Managers Association (Pasydixe) said on Monday, urging the sector to act responsibly until conditions stabilise.
In a statement, the association said such periods usually bring short-term turbulence, largely driven by intense international news coverage and the initial reaction of markets. Over time, however, the picture becomes clearer and balance is restored.
Pasydixe said the current situation requires responsibility, sound judgment and professional composure, while activity should continue as normally as possible and the sector remain ready for a swift return to full normality.
It added that it was closely monitoring developments and called on the industry’s leadership to act with prudence and responsibility, while helping maintain confidence in Cyprus as a destination.
