Four arrested, 372 traffic reports filed in overnight operations
The police arrested four people and reported 372 individuals for traffic violations in overnight operations to combat crime and instil a sense of safety among the public.
The arrests were made in connection with theft from an employee, theft of a motorcycle and public insult.
In the framework of Sunday night’s operations, the police checked 809 drivers and passengers, resulting in 372 people being booked for various offences, including 204 for speeding. During inspections, the police identified 17 pending traffic offences and confiscated nine vehicles.
They also checked 26 establishments and filed two reports.
