Bodybuilder Jeff Nippard's Fiance Dies Suddenly

Trainer Jeff Nippard has suffered an enormous loss. He fiance, fitness influencer and biology researcher, Stephanie Buttermore, has died at age 36. The couple both have extensive social media followings. Buttermore has 525,000 Instagram followers. She gave fitness advice, nutrition tips, and promoted body positivity.

Nippard's social media team posted this announcement.

She was a Cancer Researcher

Buttermore had a PhD in pathology and cell biology, and researched “the molecular mechanisms that drive ovarian cancer progression,” according to her YouTube page.

Her website explains more about her area of focus.

"My doctoral research focused primarily on early detection screening markers and the molecular mechanisms driving ovarian cancer (OC).  Through my work, I discovered that a protein called Receptor for Hyaluronan Mediated Motility (RHAMM) was upregulated in OC cell lines, OC tissue and OC patient urine. I demonstrated that RHAMM could be used in conjunction with other screening modalities as a viable early detection urinary screening marker (patent).”
