USAngling Saltwater Kayak Fishing Announces Expanded 2026 Regional Qualifier Series

USAngling Saltwater Kayak Fishing is proud to announce its 2026 competition season, featuring a significantly expanded Regional Qualifier Series that continues to test the nation's best kayak anglers while guiding them along the pathway to the USAngling National Championship, Team USA selection, and international competition.

Building on the success of recent seasons, the 2026 schedule introduces two additional regional qualifiers in two new states, reflecting the rapid growth of competitive saltwater kayak fishing across the United States. The Regional Qualifier Series is designed to challenge elite anglers in diverse fisheries nationwide while identifying top performers who advance to the National Championship and beyond.

2026 National Championship
San Diego, California - August 14-16, 2026
Top-performing anglers from the Regional Qualifier Series will earn invitations to compete at the USAngling Saltwater Kayak Fishing National Championship, where national titles and Team USA consideration are on the line.


2026 International Championships

Los Buzos, Panama - June 28- July 4 2026
Portugal, September 21-25, 2026

Qualified Team USA athletes will represent the United States in elite international competition, showcasing American kayak anglers on the world stage.
