Larnaca–Tel Aviv flight delayed in landing after Iranian attack alerts in Israel
An Air Haifa flight travelling from Larnaca to Tel Aviv was placed in a holding pattern on Friday after attack alerts were triggered in Israel following reported fire from Iran.
According to Ynet News, the aircraft remained airborne as Israeli authorities responded to the alerts.
Flight E2-106, operating from Cyprus to Israel, was approaching Tel Aviv when the alarms were activated.
Israeli aviation and security authorities moved to assess the situation before allowing aircraft to proceed with landings.
Israeli media reported that the plane continued circling as a precaution while the alerts were active.
There were no reports of damage or injuries linked to the incident, and it was not immediately clear whether other flights into Israel had been affected.
