Class of 2027 five-star Gabe Nesmith to visit Kansas
By JAMES MADDEN
Class of 2027 five-star forward Gabe Nesmith is set to take an official visit to Kansas for Saturday’s game against in-state rival Kansas State, On3 first reported on Thursday. Nesmith is a 6-foot-6 guard in the Overtime Elite program originally from the Melbourne, FL area.
Nesmith spoke with ZAGSBLOG about his relationship with Kansas in April.
“My guy Darryn Peterson is going there. I’ve talked to their assistant coach a little bit. I like what they got going over there. I feel like they really breed NBA prospects like Darryn is going to be. I just think they got a good situation over there,” Nesmith said.
Kansas has built a strong relationship with the Overtime Elite program over the past few years, recently landing commitments from Kohl Rosario, Bryson Tiller and Samis Calderon.
