Nathan Dean Returning as Ethan Lovett to 'General Hospital' Six Years After Last Appearance
Nathan Dean (formerly Parsons) is returning to General Hospital!
On Thursday (March 5), it was announced that the 37-year-old actor will be reprising his role as Ethan Lovett, six years after his last appearance on the ABC soap opera.
He’ll back on the show starting in April!

Nathan first made his debut as Ethan, the son of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), back in January 2009. He first left the show in 2012, but returned for brief appearances in 2013, 2015, and 2020.
After leaving GH, Nathan appeared on shows including True Blood, Bunheads, The Originals, Once Upon a Time, and Roswell, New Mexico.
In April 2023, actor James Ryan briefly portrayed Ethan for several episodes before the character was sent back to live off-screen in Australia.
