She apparently thanked her co-workers and Today show staffers for “caring about my mom as much as I do.”
Savannah also apparently said, via People, “I wanted you to know that I’m still standing, and I still have hope, and I’m still me. And I don’t know what version of me that will be, but it will be. I’m holding onto my faith. I still believe. And as my mom would say, ‘where else would I go?’”
“I have every intention of coming back. I don’t know how to come back, but I don’t know how not to. You’re my family. And, I would like to try,” she apparently said.
The site then reports that a prayer was lead by Dylan Dreyer, who reportedly said, “We’re here holding hands as a family, in a place where we don’t understand why this is happening…. It is not too bold to ask God for the biggest miracles every day.”
Savannah apparently hugged everyone before she departed.
NBC released a statement about the visit, confirming a piece of news.
