Central Bank of Cyprus announces upcoming bank closures
The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) issued a public notice on Thursday to inform people and businesses that banks will be closed for two upcoming national holidays.
According to the official announcement, the closures are scheduled to take place during the final week of March and the first week of April to observe two historical milestones.
The first closure will occur on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in observance of Greek Independence Day.
Following this, banks in Cyprus will shut again on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to mark Cyprus National Day.
