“American in inspiration, Danish in execution”: How an international and a local started their pie company
In central Copenhagen, there is a pie shop founded by Erin Chapman, an American, and Dorte Prip, a Dane. “When I came here, there weren’t that many foreigners,” Erin said. “So I mostly had Danish friends.” One thing is for sure: “Danes take time,” Erin says. “ It’s an investment to make a Danish friend, but it’s worth it.”
