Bethenny Frankel Shares Why She Refuses to Join E!'s 'Real Housewives' Reboot Series 'The Golden Life'
Bethenny Frankel is keeping The Real Housewives of New York City behind her.
Last month, it was announced that several RHONY stars will be starring on E!’s new spinoff series The Golden Life.
In a new video shared on Instagram, Bethenny, 55, explained that she refuses to join the new series because it will not “be good for business.”

They kind of like that’s it’s in the rearview.”
She also predicted that the other cast members would end up resenting her.
“Despite some of the women asking if I would come back, the amount of money it would take for me to come back — that E! could presumably never pay — would make the other Housewives resent me so much, which did happen before,” Bethenny noted.
“I’m really happy for these women and I want them to thrive [and] succeed and I want the show to do well,” she added.
Bethenny went on to call the show a “savage, amazing move by E!” before sharing her final reason for not joining the cast.
“I like my life now. I like not having to do anything anyone else tells me to do or be anywhere anyone else tells me to be,” she said. “Protecting my peace and this stage of life is very important to me.”
