Glass Found in Fried Rice from These Stores: Massive Recall

A recall initiated due to possible glass contamination should have shoppers on high alert.

Trader Joes’s shared a press release alerting customers of a broader recall associated with frozen products produced by Ajinomoto Foods North America.

Recall Expanded

The recall first recalled 3,370,530 pounds of food. Still, the expanded recall added 33,617,045 pounds of ready-to-eat and not-ready-to-eat "chicken and pork fried rice, ramen, and shu mai dumpling products” sold under Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe’s between Oct. 21, 2024, and Feb. 26, 2026.
