Jasmine Crockett Concedes to James Talarico in Texas Senate Race, Says She'll Continue Working to Elect Democrats
The Texas Senate Primaries have been a hot topic in politics over the past few months, especially in the Democratic race.
With election day on Tuesday (March 3), one of the Democratic candidates, Jasmine Crockett, just conceded to the winner, James Talarico.
They have both been thrust into the spotlight in recent weeks as the race became a national event. Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers faced backlash for what they said publicly about the race, and Stephen Colbert‘s CBS issue with Talarico also went viral recently.
Now, Jasmine has called James to concede.

Texas is primed to turn blue and we must remain united because this is bigger than any one person. This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.”
