The latest Berret-Racoupeau designs continue the tradition that a Hanse owner expects of rarely being overtaken by another cruising yacht. By keeping the waterline as narrow as possible, they cut upwind better than most and with a balance on the helm that others only dream of.

What really stands out however is the ease with which you can get the best out of them. Each model has the sail controls right back at the helm position. This allows those who want to sail shorthanded to do so easily and safely, in turn meaning more time on the water enjoying your investment.

The larger models also come equipped with a permanently rigged twin forestay arrangement, which is almost unheard of on modern cruising yachts. This addition dramatically improves the ease with which the correct sail plan can be selected in accordance with the weather conditions.
