Yves Bissouma has issued a rallying cry to the Tottenham Hotspur supporters as the club heads into a defining stretch of the season with their Premier League status under threat.

We are heading into the Premier League season’s run-in, and Tottenham Hotspur’s target has since shifted.

A side that began the campaign with ambitions of challenging towards the top end of the table now finds itself in the bottom half, battling to avoid relegation.

2026 has so far brought nothing but misery, with Spurs winless in the league and ten matches played since their last victory back in December.

Crystal Palace are next at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Yves Bissouma has now addressed the supporters directly, insisting belief remains within the squad despite the current run.

Speaking to the official Tottenham channels at Craven Cottage, when asked for a message to the fans, Bissouma said: “Yeah, for sure. I’m sure we’re going to… it’s some details.

“We believe in each other, we believe in the coach, we believe in the work he does for us. We believe in everything.

“We know the situation will change. We just have to find the right way to do it, because we have everything – we have players, we have a team, we have a group, a solid group.

“It’s a moment. Of course, we do not feel good. It’s not what we want, but together we can change things. I’m sure we will change things as soon as possible.

“We will start with the game that’s coming. We will need everyone. Every fan, because this is really important, especially when we’re at home.

“We will need the fans. We need them. We always need them. I think next game will be the game. It’s time to change things.”

Spurs players must match fan backing in relegation battle

Of course, the Tottenham supporters will continue to play their part, as they do not want to see their club drop after four decades in the top flight.

But questions will continue to be asked of this group of players and whether they have what it takes to handle a relegation scrap.

Former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson has expressed doubts about certain individuals in the Tottenham squad, stating that if the side were full of players with Richarlison’s mentality, he would fancy Tottenham’s chances of staying in the Premier League.
