JFK Jr.'s Nephew Jack Schlossberg Calls 'Love Story' a 'Grotesque Display,' Urges Ryan Murphy to Focus on 'Getting Trump Out of Power'
Jack Schlossberg is not happy with Ryan Murphy‘s latest FX series.
Love Story is a biographical romance anthology that premiered in February following the courtship and relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette.
During a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Jack called the series “a grotesque display” and shared harsh words for Ryan, who serves as an executive producer on the series.

“Well, if you want to know someone who’s never met anyone in my family, knows nothing about us, talk to Ryan Murphy,” the 33-year-old political commentator said. “I would just want people who do watch the show to watch it with one letter in mind, and that’s a capital ‘F’ for Fiction.”
Regarding the profits from the series, Jack said he “would hope” that the exec would consider donating the money to causes JFK Jr. “championed throughout his life.”
“But he’s not… This is not a documentary and I’ll leave it at that,” he concluded.
While there have been dozens of series, documentaries, movies, and otherwise about the Kennedy family, this particular show sticks out to Jack because of the divisive time we’re living in.
He points out that Donald Trump has been using the family name as “a punching bag,” and there is so much misinformation out there during “a time where we really can’t afford to confuse people.”
“So, if Ryan Murphy really cares so much about the Kennedy family, my uncle John, maybe he would try to do something about getting Trump out of power,” he concluded.
Jack has previously criticized Ryan and Love Story, and in response the American Horror Story creator said: “I thought it was an odd choice to be mad about your relative that you really don’t remember.”
JFK Jr.‘s nephew fired back again by listing some of his specific memories, like “being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died,” he wrote.
During the same interview, Jack shared his late sister Tatiana‘s final words to him.
