O’Hara believes that the problems at Tottenham are not just with the head coach or the players, but go right to the top.
The pundit suggested that after years of poor recruitment and a lack of standards at Tottenham, the chickens are finally coming home to roost on the pitch.
The former Spurs midfielder wrote on X: “Chickens have come home to roost, years of terrible recruitment, poor standards and weak mentality, embarrassing to watch every week, top to bottom huge problems.”
Spurs want to take big measures if they stay up
Tottenham fans will be hoping that the team’s struggles come as a reality check to the club’s hierarchy, who will make big changes to ensure the club never find themselves in a similar situation ever again.
Reports suggest that is what will happen this summer, with Spurs reportedly willing to remove their restrictive salary cap to compete for the signing of elite players.
Some sources have even claimed that Tottenham are prepared to fund an ambitious rebuild of the squad in the summer.
