Iconic '70s Punk Band Reschedules Tour After Injury Forced Cancellation
The Sex Pistols and Frank Carter have confirmed that their "Never Mind The Bollocks" tour will begin later this year following a sudden cancelation due to guitarist Steve Jones' wrist injury.
The U.S. tour will pick up again on September 11, with a number of new dates and locations added to make up for the delay.
The Sex Pistols' Tour Begins This Fall
According to Rolling Stone, the tour will kick off on September 11 at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, with the iconic punk band making their way across the country from there. This will be the group's first time returning to the Longhorn Ballroom since 1978, where their notorious first U.S. visit began.
At each stop on the tour, the Sex Pistols and Frank Carter will play their Never Mind the Bollocks album in full, with new material expected throughout. It was the band's only full-length studio album, and is widely remembered for the strained, turbulent production that saw the band's lineup change several times.
Where To Get Tickets For The 'Never Mind The Bollocks' Tour
A new round of tickets for the Sex Pistols' upcoming tour will go on sale on Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. local time. The band has also confirmed that in most cases, tickets purchased for the original tour in 2025 will remain valid, though fans should check with the venue on an individual basis.
