Macron Updates French Nuclear Doctrine, Vows To Increase Their Number of Nuclear Warheads
As the world is reeling with war, failing Macron wants to get more and more nukes.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced in a main address on Monday, March 2nd, updates to France’s doctrine on the use of nuclear weapons.
The speech was delivered in a military base that hosts France’s ballistic missile submarines.

“Macron said France was entering a new phase in its nuclear deterrence strategy, one that would complement NATO’s nuclear mission and he invited European allies to participate in nuclear deterrence exercises.
‘What I’d like is for Europeans to regain control of their own destiny’, Macron said.”
France, Germany and the UK are joining forces to build long-range missiles, Macron announced.

“Macron emphasized that the country’s nuclear power would be in the service of peace. However, he warned of the country’s capacity to potentially draw on its significant nuclear arsenal in a way that no country, no power, however strong, could recover.”

BBC reported:
“‘The next 50 years will be an era of nuclear weapons’, he said.
Speaking to naval officers in front of a nuclear submarine at the Île Longue base near the port of Brest, he said the number of French nuclear warheads would be increased from their current level of around 300.”
Macron said that eight European countries – namely the UK, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Sweden and Denmark – had agreed to participate in a new ‘advanced deterrence’ strategy.
