$450,000 Written By Filly Sells at Inglis Premier
Written By enjoyed super results at Inglis Premier Book 1 with four yearlings selling at an average $217,500.
Astute Bloodstock were quick to snap up a Gilgai Farm bred and consigned Written By filly from Tune Doubt that sold for $450,000 making her the highest priced yearling filly for her sire, who stands at Widden NSW at a fee of $22,000.
Tune Doubt has had two foals to race both smart metro winners and she is a three-quarter sister to Group III winner Jukebox from stakes-winner Jestatune with the family best known for Group I winner Ihtsahymn.
Louis Le Metayer was thrilled to pick up a filly that he believes can be out and going early.
“This filly is all speed,” said Le Metayer. “I was the underbidder on the sister Miss Ole two years ago, who was a genuine early good city class mare. We get all our prospective purchases rated by a pedigree specialist, and she rated extremely high. She’s a powerhouse, all speed.”
