Latest planning applications in Dartford include signs for car showroom at former Papermakers Arms pub in Hawley
Plans related to a new car showroom in a village and for a seven-person house in multiple occupation (HMO) are among the latest applications lodged with Dartford council.
In Hawley, an application has gone in for signage at a car sales firm set to open at a former pub.
The Papermakers Arms has sat vacant since closing in April 2022 and was sold to Belvedere-based SBT Estates in August 2024.
It later revealed its plans to convert the site into a luxury car showroom.
Permission is now being sought for a non-illuminated fascia sign and one non-illuminated free-standing sign to replace current sign.
Another notable proposals include the change of use of 30 Brent Lane, Dartford into a seven-person HMO, including cycle and bin storage.
In Dartford town centre, developers have applied to convert upper floors at 51 High Street to create two one-bedroom flats, including new windows, bin and cycle storage and garden areas.
