Three people shot in East Oakland early Sunday morning
Three people were shot early Sunday in East Oakland, authorities said.
The three were apparently hit by stray bullets fired during a dispute involving other people, authorities said.
All three were in stable condition. The victims included a 31-year old Stockton woman, a 57-year-old Oakland man and a 32-year old Oakland man.
The shooting, which was captured on a gunshot detection system, happened around 1:55 a.m. Sunday in the 8800 block of International Boulevard.
According to initial police reports, a dispute broke out involving other people that was possibly linked to a party in the area.
The woman and 32-year-old man got their own transportation to hospitals, and the 57-year-old man was able to make it to another location where he was transported to a hospital via an ambulance, authorities said.
Police are trying to identify people involved in the other dispute and what motivated it. No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
