‘BETTER NOT DO THAT’: Trump gives fresh warning to Iran after revenge threat against U.S.
PALM BEACH, Florida – President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a fresh warning to Iran, after the Islamic Republic claimed it would fiercely retaliate against America after the U.S. and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury against Tehran on Saturday.
“Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before,” Trump said on Truth Social.
Then in all capital letters, the president added: “THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE! Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Saturday’s military strike on Iran killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and some 40 top officials of his regime.
President Trump also re-shared a video clip of himself appearing on the radio show of the late broadcaster Rush Limbaugh, who died five years ago.
Trump at the time said of Iran: “They’ve been put on notice. If you f*** around with us, if you do something bad to us, we are going to do things to you that have never been done before.”
