Jim Carrey’s Super-Rare Family Affair Confirms Long-Standing Romance Rumors With Min Ah
Jim Carrey made this awards season a family affair no one will forget, and made headlines by confirming a long-standing rumor about his love life with Min Ah.
In case you missed it, at the 2026 César Awards, Carrey won the Honorary César for his work in film. (Past recipients have been Bette Davis, Sophia Loren, Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, and more.) But he brought some very special guests to the event: his daughter, Jane Erin Carrey; his longtime love, Min Ah; and his grandson, Jackson.
“Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson,” the Liar Liar star said in French, smiling proudly as he accepted the award, which you can see in photos obtained by E! Online. “As I love you now and forever.”
He added, “Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah. And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father Percy Joseph Carrey, who taught me the value of love, generosity and laughter.”
Not only do we love that his daughter and grandson arrived for the big night, but we’re obsessed with the fact that he confirmed the years-long rumors about his love life.
He and Min Ah first sparked romance rumors in Feb 2022 when they were spotted leaving a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow in Los Angeles. Min Ah, also known as Minzi, is reportedly an artist and actress based in Los Angeles.
