Kate Middleton & Prince William Subtly Packed on the PDA During Latest Royal Visit Amid Andrew’s Arrest
While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t afraid of the PDA moments, William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, are more on the subtle side of affection in public. But even throughout the royal feud and ex-Prince Andrew’s arrests, the Wales duo are carrying on, and doing so in a rather lovey-dovey fashion.
In photos obtained by InStyle, we see William and Kate being touchy-feely during their trip to Oriel Davies in Wales on Feb 26, 2026, ahead of St. David’s Day. Not only did we see that classic love of love Kate gives William, but we also saw William consistently touching her throughout, showing his protective nature toward her.
As we said, they’re not the most PDA-filled couple out there, but this rare moment shows their unity amid the royal chaos (and fans are loving it).

Now, contrary to popular belief, there are no royal etiquette rules in place when it comes to members of the family engaging in public displays of affection.
Etiquette expert Myka Meier previously told People about the rules, saying, “Senior members of the royal family would likely not be told how to interact or when they can or can not show PDA and would be trusted to use their better judgment as to when it’s appropriate.”
