Crispin Glover Denies 'Sex Slave' Allegations in Civil Lawsuit, Calls Claims 'Meritless Fabrication'

Crispin Glover is denying allegations made against him in a civil lawsuit filed by a British woman identifying only as “Jane Doe.”

Doe is claiming that the pair first met online in 2015 when Glover asked her to move to Los Angeles from the United Kingdom with promises that she would have a place to live and employment as his assistant.

She alleges that when they met face to face in 2023, he showed her pieces of his collection of Nazi memorabilia and “groomed” her to become his live-in girlfriend and “sex slave,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

The legal filing claims she “was essentially held captive and used for sex and free labor by Mr. Glover under false pretenses.”

Doe, a former model, moved to LA in 2024 and accuses Glover of becoming increasingly controlling, wanting to track her every move. She asserts that things came to a head in 2024 during an incident when he grabbed her neck, leaving behind a visible wound. Afterward, she says he changed the locks, leaving her homeless.

Glover is being accused of fraud and wrongful eviction; assault and battery; malicious prosecution and intentional infliction of emotional distress; and violation of California civil rights statute, the Bane Act.

She is seeking a jury trial and an unspecified amount in damages.

The actor, best known for Back to the Future, has vehemently denied the allegations through his representatives and previously filed a restraining order against Doe in 2024—leading to the malicious prosecution charge in her case.

The following statement was shared with The Hollywood Reporter by Glover‘s reps.

Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms. The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe.

These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time. Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and will pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication.
