Amid T.I. Feud, 50 Cent Makes a Bombshell Announcement about the Power
Over the last several days, it’s become abundantly clear, yet again, that there’s no love lost between Grammy-winning rappers, T.I. and 50 Cent. Their back-and-forth in interviews and social media is the first official rap beef to kick off in 2026, and it’s now entangling innocent bystanders, even Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. And shockingly, amidst all the discourse between the two rappers, 50 Cent thought now is the time to make a bombshell announcement about the very popular Power universe on Starz.
The New York rapper hopped on social media on February 27 and shared some information that Power fans may not be happy to hear. So what did he say?

While the new spinoff of Power, Power: Legacy, was teased back in 2025, 50 Cent shared this year that the new show will probably be the last addition to the Power universe. In particular, he shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter):
“New Heat ????on the way, I think this is gonna be the last spin off then I’m done with the POWER universe.”
He also plugged his G-Unit brand in the post and shared an image for the new series. Take a look at the post below.

Why Are T.I. and 50 Cent Beefing Today?
The rivalry between T.I. and 50 Cent dates as far back as the early to mid 2000s, when 50 Cent implied that T.I. was a snitch on a track. From there, the relationship/non-relationship between the duo has been rocky ever since.
The tension between them lay dormant for a while, until T.I.’s recent press tour, in which he claimed he and 50 Cent talked about taking part in the viral sensation Verzuz and “selling some shows together,” but 50 Cent appears to have pulled out, leaving a bad taste in T.I.’s mouth. The “What You Know” rapper was so upset that he lost respect for 50 Cent and has been sharing that disdain lately.
T.I.’s words got under the skin of the “In Da Club” rapper, and that led to 50 Cent trolling T.I.’s wife, Tiny, from the legendary girl group Xscape. That prompted T.I.’s children to get involved to defend their mother and stepmother, and as the chaos has continued to unfold. There are shady memes, diss tracks, and video rants all directed at 50 Cent.
It’s worth pointing out that traditional rap beef usually takes place with a series of diss tracks between rappers. However, 50 Cent has yet to release a new song. So is it possible that 50 Cent has new music on the way? Hard to say.
