Šamorín will serve as the central hub. The X-Bionic® Sphere combines a 50m Olympic-size outdoor pool, a 25m indoor warm-up pool and a Danube backwater canal for open water competition within one contained sports complex. Athlete accommodation, catering and recovery facilities are located on site, reducing transfers and simplifying logistics for competitors and teams. Swimming opens the Championships, followed later in the programme by open water swimming and the water polo tournament.
In Bratislava, the Pasienky Swimming Complex will host artistic swimming. The venue includes a 50m pool and established support areas for teams and officials. Its location within the Slovak capital provides straightforward transport access and accommodation options.
Diving will take place in Graz at the Auster Sport- und Wellnessbad. The facility features outdoor 1m and 3m springboards and platforms from 1m through to 10m, alongside training and warm-up areas designed to meet international competition standards.
European Aquatics is proud to introduce a Full Inclusion Model at the European Aquatics Masters Championships 2026, marking an important milestone in the evolution of Masters aquatics and demonstrating a strong commitment to accessibility, equality, and diversity.
Under this model, athletes with disabilities will be fully integrated into the main competition programme, competing in the same events, appearing in start lists according to their official entry times, and participating within the same competition structure and operational framework as all other athletes, ensuring equal conditions and reinforcing the inclusive spirit of the Championships.
