Cardi B Reacts to Reports She Trashed 'Saturday Night Live' Set Over Nicki Minaj Joke

Cardi B is reacting to the new reports about her time on Saturday Night Live.

TMZ recently reported that the 33-year-old Grammy-winning rapper lashed out and trashed the set of the NBC late-night sketch comedy show when she appeared as the musical guest on January 31.

According to the report, the “Weekend Update” anchors were running their jokes ahead of dress rehearsal and when they apparently made a joke about Nicki Minaj and her affiliation with Donald Trump, Cardi lost it.

Keep reading to find out more…The outlet claims that Cardi started destroying equipment on set, allegedly threw her phone at a TV monitor and threatened to leave the show. She also allegedly went into a producers’ office and punched a screen until it broke.

Cardi‘s alleged episode left everyone on set unsettled and scared, and ultimately, the joke about Nicki, 43, was scrapped.

Hours after the report was published on Wednesday (February 25), Cardi took to X to clap back and deny the allegations.

“Hmmm all these little random stories… ????” Cardi tweeted. “fck it, let them talk, let them eat cake, let them come to the ballllll”

She later added, “Now all of a sudden random stories coming out …like please -_-”

If you didn’t know, Cardi and Nicki have been in a very public feud for years. After the two threw nasty digs at each other on social media back in October, they (sort of) apologized to each other.
