Elephant calf dies after falling into open well in Keonjhar

A one-year-old elephant calf tragically died after falling into an open well in Keonjhar district while attempting to feed on vegetables. Despite desperate attempts by its mother and herd to rescue it, and a subsequent forest department operation, the calf succumbed to severe injuries sustained from falling debris.
