Despite being a beloved A-list actor and director, Maggie Gyllenhaal is quite private; especially when it comes to her family. However, this super-rare outing not only shows her family’s sweet bond, but also how her eldest daughter is her lookalike already!
In photos obtained by DailyMail, we see Gyllenhaal, Sarsgaard, and their daughter, Ramona, dressed in all black for the premiere of The Bride, which is a take on the Frankenstein classic starring Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale. Not only are they all twinning in dark looks, but fans can’t help but notice how Ramona looks like the Secretary star’s mini-me!
From their dark hair to their makeup and facial expressions, Ramona is truly her mom’s lookalike, and we’re loving this super-rare family outing!

For those who don’t know, Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard started dating in 2002 and eventually got married in 2009. They have two daughters named Ramona, born in Oct 2006, and Gloria, born in April 2012.
In a 2019 interview with SheKnows, Gyllenhaal shared advice for new moms. She said, “Being a mother is amazing, of course. But it is also brutal and painful. Make some space for the whole spectrum of feelings that are about to push in. Not just the fantasy ones.”
