How to watch the 2026 SAG Actor Awards live
Another major event in the awards season circuit is upon us: the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The SAG Awards — now simply called The Actor Awards in 2026 — exclusively honor outstanding acting performances in movies and television from the previous calendar year. They also can give us some insight into what to expect at the Oscars.
The 32nd Annual Actor Awards will broadcast live globally on Netflix for the third year in a row. Kristen Bell will host the awards show once again at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Here's everything you need to know to watch the Actor Awards live.
When are the 2026 SAG Actor Awards?
The Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). For those heavily invested in awards season, that's just two weeks prior to the 2026 Academy Awards.
Who's nominated for the 2026 Actor Awards?
On the film side, One Battle After Another leads this year's nominations with seven nods, followed by Sinners with five. Other contenders include Frankenstein, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme.
Meanwhile, on the TV side of things, The Studio picked up the most nominations with five, while The White Lotus and Adolescence each picked up four.

How to watch the 2026 SAG Awards at home
You won't be able to catch the awards ceremony on cable. Instead, you'll need to be a Netflix subscriber to watch the Actor Awards. And since Netflix doesn't offer free trials (and since the platform cracked down on password sharing), you'll need to sign up for your own account before the show. Fortunately, Netflix has a few membership tiers and all three options will grant you access to the SAG Actor Awards broadcast.
Watching Netflix with ads is certainly the most affordable option at $7.99 per month, but if you can't stand ads, your next-best choice is to sign up for Netflix Standard for $17.99 per month. Finally, there's a third tier for new subscribers dubbed Netflix Premium. It'll cost you $24.99 per month and will let you watch on four household devices at once (as opposed to the other plans' two devices) in 4K Ultra HD + HDR with no ads.
The best Netflix deals
If you're lucky enough to be eligible for one of the deals below, you can score Netflix for cheap (maybe even free!). Be sure to check the terms for more details and sign up before the deals expire.
Best Netflix deal for T-Mobile customers
T-Mobile customers on select plans can score Netflix Standard with ads for free (reg. $7.99 per month) as long as their account is in good standing. You need to have two or more lines of any type of Go5G or Magenta plan or at least one line of Go5G Next, Go5G Plus, Magenta MAX, Experience More, or Experience Beyond plan.
While the Netflix subscription is free for eligible customers, you'll have to manually activate it by navigating to the T-Life app and selecting Manage > See plans > Manage add-ons. From there, scroll down to select the Netflix streaming benefit and click continue. Then follow the prompts to link an existing account or create a new one. For help, head to the Netflix support page.
Best Netflix bundle deal
Verizon customers with myPlan can enjoy the Netflix and HBO Max bundle (with ads) for just $10 per month (save $8.98 per month), which essentially gets you Netflix with ads for free. Eligible Verizon customers include those on the Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Ultimate plans. After enrolling in the promo, you'll have to complete the account setup separately for each service. Eligibility details, terms, and FAQs can be found on the Verizon support page.
Best Netflix deal for Xfinity customers
New and current Xfinity Internet and TV customers can sign up for the Xfinity StreamSaver package and get Netflix Standard with ads, Peacock Premium, and Apple TV for just $18 per month. Usually, those three subscriptions would cost you $31.97 total, so you'll save about $13.97 monthly with this package deal.
