The Epstein Case Timeline, Built From Official Palm Beach Police Documents
Every event in the timeline above was extracted directly from Filthy Rich by James Patterson. The book was published in 2016. Patterson built it from Palm Beach police records, sworn depositions, and court filings from the Epstein case. This is not a blog post. It is not a conspiracy site. It is a mainstream published book sourced entirely from official documents.
The probable cause affidavits were filed by Detective Joseph Recarey, the lead investigator on the Epstein case. Recarey investigated the 2004 theft at Epstein’s home. He identified Juan Alessi as the suspect. He later built the entire sexual abuse case against Epstein from the ground up. And Recarey is the same detective who connected the photographs found during the 2005 search warrant back to the cameras his own department had installed.
What the records document is a sequence. An arrest was coming. Epstein called a captain, and the arrest was stopped. Epstein then delivered $90,000 to the Palm Beach Police Department personally. Palm Beach PD then entered his home and installed hidden cameras inside clocks. Those cameras captured the images of underage girls found when detectives returned with a search warrant the following year.
The Epstein documents are now fully public. The Palm Beach probable cause affidavits filed by Detective Recarey are part of the public court record. Anyone can verify this.
Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody in 2019. No Palm Beach Police Department officer or captain has ever been named, investigated, or charged in connection with any part of this.
