Denmark to hold general election on the 24th of March, PM Frederiksen announces
During the Parliament meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced that the country will hold a national election on March 24. The new Parliament will appoint a new government and a new prime minister, unless Frederiksen manages to stay in power. A government party said it would not have called the election. Right-wing parties are now working to see whether it is possible to form a coalition.
