BMC files plaint against advertiser
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation filed a police complaint against a private advertiser after a hoarding collapse killed two people. The BMC is actively removing unclaimed hoardings, especially in cyclone-prone areas, and has identified 193 structures yet to be dismantled. Advertisers were previously warned about contract renewals and unauthorized installations.
