Panera Launching First-Ever Value Menu
As of Wednesday, February 25, Panera has officially entered the value menu world with the launch of its Mix & Match Menu, which allows customers to build a meal from a list of the restaurant's soups, salads and sandwiches.
The Mix & Match Menu is Panera's first-ever dedicated value menu and allows guests the opportunity to combine up to 10 of the brand's most popular items for $4.99 each.
More on the Mix & Match Menu
Panera's new value menu consists of four salads, three sandwiches and three soups, all in half or cup sizes. The 10 options will include a rotating seasonal item.
“With the Mix & Match Menu, Panera is introducing the first value menu of its kind–one that doesn’t require compromise and makes it easy for guests to combine quality, craveable selections into a meal that truly satisfies at a great value," said Panera's chief marketing officer Mark Shambura in a press release provided to Men's Journal.
What is featured on the Mix & Match menu?
The current food items are as follows:
- Half Sandwiches: Toasted Italiano, Toasted Caprese Focaccia, Bacon Turkey Bravo
- Half Salads: Fuji Apple Chicken, Ranch Parm BLT, Caesar, Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad
- Cups of Soup: Creamy Tomato, Homestyle Chicken Noodle, Bistro French Onion
Guests can choose between two or all 10 items for their order, with each order coming with the choice of a free baguette, chips or an apple on the side.
'You Pick Two' remains a popular pick
Even with the advent of the Mix & Match Menu, Panera is keeping its “You Pick Two” combo, a fan-favorite, on the menu.
The "You Pick Two" is the value menu on a smaller scale, with customers allowed to pick two of the following three choices--cup of soup or macaroni and cheese, half sandwich and half salad--to complete their meal.
All "You Pick Two" orders come with a free baguette, chips or apple on the side.
