First picture of man, 20, stabbed to death in skate park
A young man who was stabbed to death at a skate park has been pictured for the first time.
Two men were attacked during an altercation at the park in Ringway near Briar Hill, Northampton.
Mason Miller was pronounced dead on the scene on Wednesday afternoon, while a teenage boy remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Police have arrested four people, including two teenage boys as well as a man and woman, all of whom remain in custody.
A murder investigation is ongoing.

Mr Miller’s friend Kane Bailey said the incident had left his family ‘mortified’.
He wrote on a fundraiser page: ‘This is my friend Mason Miller who was taken from us on 18th February 2026 due to knife crime.
‘This has left his family mortified and I really want to be able to give him the send off he and his family deserves.
‘Please support this fundraiser as it will do so much for the family of my friend and brother Mason.’
Councillor Julie Davenport said the incident was rare but ‘unsettling’ for the local community.
‘Our hearts go out to the families of those involved in this incident. One moment of anger can change so many people’s lives forever’, she said.
DCI Torie Harrison said: ‘This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly lost his life, and a teenage boy is in a critical condition. Our thoughts are firmly with both their families at this difficult time.
‘We know incidents of this nature can be a cause of concern within the neighbourhood and wider community, and I would like to offer our reassurance that we have a team of dedicated officers working at pace to establish what has happened.
‘High-visibility police patrols will be taking place in the area to reassure the local community, and I would encourage anyone with concerns in the area to approach one of our officers who will be happy to help.
‘Arrests were promptly made, and inquiries are continuing to move at a fast pace, however I would still appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information who has not yet come forward to please do so.’
