Newspaper claims Juventus have only made two successful signings in three years
Following a 2-0 defeat against Como in Serie A on Saturday afternoon, which puts Champions League qualification at a major risk, Turin-based outlet Tuttosport claims that Juventus have only made two successful signings over the last three seasons, which is why they have hit a stumbling block again under Luciano Spalletti.
The Bianconeri were hit with a 2-0 defeat at home against Cesc Fabregas’s Como thanks to goals from Mergim Vojvoda and Lucas Da Cunha on Saturday. This result means that the race for the top four is no longer in Juve’s hands, and now, Roma could move four points clear in fourth place if they beat Cremonese on Sunday.
Are Juventus’s poor transfers behind recent lack of form?
Juventus have now picked up just one point from their last five matches across all competitions and have also conceded 15 goals across that period as well.
In response to their poor performance against Como on Saturday, Turin-based outlet Tuttosport suggests that Juventus have only made two successful signings over the last three seasons i.e. six transfer windows, which is why they are unable to progress on the pitch.
Tuttosport claims that Pierre Kalulu, who joined from Milan in the summer of 2024, and Khephren Thuram, signed from OGC Nice earlier in the same summer, have been the only two exceptions to a poor run of Juventus transfers.
