Police release photo of car sought in Englewood hit-and-run that seriously injured 2 girls
Chicago police released a photo of a vehicle wanted in connection with an Englewood hit-and-run that injured a teenage girl and a 6-year-old child Friday morning on the South Side.
The vehicle was described as a white and black 2010 Lincoln MKT with llinois license plate number "FS73498," police said in a community alert. The vehicle may have damage to the front, hood and windshield and has a sticker on the left side of the rear window.
About 7:40 a.m. Friday, two girls, 15 and 6, were crossing the street in the 1700 block of West 69th Street when the vehicle struck them and did not stop, police said.
The 6-year-old girl was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition after sustaining several injuries. The teen sustained scrapes and was transported to Comer in serious condition, police said. No other injuries were reported.
