Todays Football
This is the time of year where every game seems to matter that little bit more. Every team has something to aim for, whether it be automatic promotion, reaching the play-offs or avoiding relegation.
Its nice to be in the second tier at this time of year and be looking up the table, rather than down. Today could be the start of a real play-off push for us and I cant help but be hopeful and a bit excited (against my better judgement ????).
Elsewhere, Wrexham v Ispwich could be an important game in the grand scheme. Watford are at home to Derby and Southampton should beat Charlton (but you never know). Down the bottom Leicester and West Brom both have tough games to try and move away from the relegation zone. It would be ideal if Portsmouth won away at Millwall but another long shot. I fancy Leciester to beat Stoke away but I cant see West Brom getting anything from a rejuvenated Coventry, even at home.
Whatever happens, it should be a fascinating day of football, and this will repeat pretty much every matchday for the rest of the season.
Enjoy the run in boys and girls.
